Long before Minni stepped onto the red carpet at the 79th Cannes Film Festival wearing her own designs, architecture shaped the way she saw the world.
Born in India and now based in Canada, her path to fashion was anything but conventional. With a background in architecture, architectural technology, housing design, project management, and real estate, she spent years designing structures before turning her attention to garments. Yet, to her, the transition feels less like a career change than a natural evolution.

“The principles are the same,” she says. “Whether it’s a building or a dress, you’re creating a structure with purpose.”
After moving to Canada in 2017, Minni built her career as an Architectural Technologist while quietly nurturing a lifelong passion for fashion. Without formal fashion training, she developed her own creative language through observation, experimentation, and an instinctive understanding of proportion, balance, and form—qualities deeply rooted in architecture.
For her, fashion extends beyond clothing. It is storytelling.
Every silhouette begins with an idea, every detail carries meaning, and every collection is designed to communicate something without words. Rather than following trends, she is focused on building a distinct design identity—one where craftsmanship, symbolism, and sculptural construction define the work.

That philosophy came to life at Cannes.
Walking one of the world’s most celebrated red carpets in her own creations became more than a personal milestone; it marked the public introduction of a designer determined to build a fashion house on her own terms.
Minni’s first look was inspired by the image of a flower beginning to bloom while extending its roots across the world. The sculptural bodice represented growth and transformation, while the flowing lower silhouette symbolized roots finding new ground. Every element was designed specifically for the occasion, including a custom 24-karat rose gold headpiece, wing-inspired footwear, and a signature handbag she calls the Chariot.
The Chariot serves as a metaphor for her own journey—from India to Canada and now onto an international stage. Equally symbolic is the rose-inspired handpiece, where petals evolve into roots, representing creativity, resilience, and the ongoing process of writing one’s own story.

Her second Cannes ensemble revealed another dimension of her design philosophy. Known as the “Boss Look,” the handcrafted collared dress featured the initials “MB,” introducing the identity of her emerging label. Sharp tailoring met feminine elegance, creating a look that projected confidence while signaling the beginning of a new chapter—not only for the designer herself, but for the brand she is building.
If architecture taught her to think structurally, travel has taught her to think globally.
Exploring different cultures, cities, and landscapes continually informs her creative perspective. Inspiration comes as naturally from historic architecture as it does from local craftsmanship, nature, and everyday life. Each destination adds another layer to her evolving design vocabulary.

Her multidisciplinary background has also cultivated an enduring curiosity. Drawn to understanding how things work, she approaches every challenge as an opportunity to learn. That mindset, combined with a disciplined lifestyle centered on wellness and continuous self-improvement, shapes both her personal philosophy and creative practice.
At a time when technology is rapidly reshaping creative industries, she remains committed to celebrating originality and human craftsmanship. Her work embraces innovation while insisting that authentic design still begins with imagination, emotion, and intention.
For years, Minni walked runways wearing the visions of other designers. Today, she is creating her own. The Cannes Film Festival was never intended to be the destination. It was the introduction.

Her ambition reaches beyond individual collections or red-carpet appearances. She is building a fashion house where architecture and fashion exist in conversation—where garments are constructed with the precision of buildings, infused with narrative, and designed to leave a lasting impression.
For her, architecture was never left behind.
It simply found a new form.
